Waiting for the rain to stop

I am watching my Bleeding Hearts and Forget me nots and itching to go out and pick them before they are past their prime. Alas the rain continues to pour down and I can only hope that tomorrow will be a nicer day.
My presses will stay idle for another couple of days…so I will content myself with creating a few more surprises for my customers in June.
On June 19th-21st I will be at the Garden Club Federation of Maine 81st Annual Convention in the as a vendor at the Old Town Hall Meeting Place (aka vendors market ) which is located opposite the The Hilton Garden Inn at 5 Market St, Freeport, Me where the Convention is to be held.
If you are in the area stop by and pay me a visit, the hours are Tuesday -10-5-00pm Wed: 8-5-00
and Thurs: 8-11-00am .

Looking for the rainbow,
Mary

Welcome Post

It’s still very col here in Maine …but there is no snow cover,it’s going to be interesting to see what will survive this crazy freeze ,thaw weather El Nino is causing.                                                                                                                                                             The ice on the lake in front of the house is already breaking up. The end of February was in the 50s, March roared in like a lion with winds and cold temps in the low teens and below, will it go out like a lamb and bring me  Spring Flowers to press?           I have not been very active on this site 😉 to busy creating art, the hanging kind.    I have joined an Art Association   Namely.   The Sandford Art Assoociation,     we have a small attractive Gallery in Sanford Maine .                                                Last year I became The President so far so good!     Check out the website.   http://www.sanfordspringvaleart.org

Another group keeping me busy is   The Maine Women in the Arts  I do 2 of their shows a year both in Kennebunkport Maine, my favorite one is Prelude  the 1st weekend in December, the Port looks so loverly then..

Stay warm everyone,         Ttfn.      Mary
